Mensa Admission Test

If you are interested in becoming a member of Mensa Korea, taking the admission test is required. This test is designed to measure your intelligence statistically and is both interesting and challenging. It involves only symbols and pictorial representations and does not require any knowledge of a particular language or mathematics. In other words, the test is entirely figure-based, and no prior knowledge of any specific language is required.

To qualify for membership in Mensa Korea, you will need to achieve a score that is at or above the 98th percentile. This means that you need to score higher than 98% of the general population taking the test, which corresponds approximately to an IQ score of 148 (SD 24). Our test is administered and evaluated by our qualified psychologists. If you meet the criteria, we will be delighted to extend an invitation to you to join Mensa.

1. Online Registration and Payment

• Visit the Mensa Korea website and complete the test application form through the “Test Application” page.
  (Membership registration and login are required.)

• After submitting the application, payment of the test fee is required to complete registration.

• The test fee is 88,000 KRW.
  (Bank account information will be provided after the application is submitted.) 

2. Registration

• Registration and payment must be completed before the announced deadline for the selected test date. 

• Registrations are processed in the order of payment, and seats may be filled before the deadline.

3. Confirmation

• Once both the application and payment are confirmed, your registration status will be updated on the website. 

• A confirmation message (SMS) will also be sent upon successful registration.

• You may print your admission ticket (test confirmation) from the test results page.

4. Test Fee Refund Policy

• You may cancel your registration and request a refund up to the specified deadline prior to the test date. 

• If cancellation is not made within the allowed period, the full test fee will be forfeited.

5. Eligibility

• Candidates must meet the age and eligibility requirements specified in the official test announcement.

6. What to Bring on Test Day

• Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

• Only candidates with proper identification will be admitted to the test center.
